Writing the Earth: Haiku as Ecological Awareness with Maria Daniela Giron (English y Español)

This interactive workshop invites participants to slow down, connect with nature, and express their observations through the art of haiku, inspired by the work of Matsuo Bashō.

Through a brief guided grounding exercise, simple instruction on haiku structure, and a mindful nature observation practice, attendees will learn to capture small, meaningful moments in just a few lines.

Este taller interactivo invita a los participantes a tomarse su tiempo, conectar con la naturaleza y expresar sus observaciones a traves del arte del haiku, inspirandose del trabajo de Matsuo Bashō.

Mediante un breve ejercicio guiado de conexion con el presente, unas sencillas instrucciones sobre la estructura del haiku y una practica de observacion consciente de la naturaleza, los asistentes aprenderan a plasmar pequeños momentos significativos en tan solo unas pocas lineas.

La experiencia hace hincapie en la presencia, la creatividad y la conciencia ecologica, animando a los participantes a profundizar su relacion con el mundo natural al percibirlo, sentirlo y traducirlo en poesia.
